MLS program and work

I am hoping to seek answers from those that are already in the field and have completed school. How hard is it to do an accelerated MLS program online and working 8-5 M-F as a lab assistant. Also is being an assistant helpful for this career?

MLS program and current work schedule

To keep it short and simple:

I am going into an accelerated MLS program in the spring, I have a bachelors in Biology.

My inquiry is what is better for an accelerated program? 3 12s at a mental health facility or a M-F 8-9 hour (not entirely sure on hours yet) within a lab setting?

I got my new cat (5year old male) about 3 months ago. He had a really good appetite and would eat anything. He had more wet food than dry and would have any flavor (chicken, turkey, seafood of all varieties) but then he started getting a dark line on the top of his nose. I did a bit of research and saw that most cats have a sensitivity to seafood flavors. He now only gets chicken wet food (occasionally) and primarily (his daily intake) of turkey dry food. Everything was fine for the next month. He now has a line forming again. I just recently (3 weeks ago) switched him to a auto feeder with a stainless steel bowl, about a week ago I noticed the line and again did more research with what I have for him and decided to switch his plastic water bowl to ceramic. I would plan on getting stainless steel but I’m really trying to figure out what is causing him to get a line again.

Do I need to swap the dry food? Bowls? Maybe even litter brand? Has anyone experienced this?

Also just to add, it’s not an age thing, it’s only on a section of his nose and it wasn’t a gradual darken, it’s either food or environmental
