I'm new to PC building, but I'm finally upgrading from my 1650 to a 4070 Super. The problem is, I no longer have any of the cables that came with the original Cooler Master v650 Gold V2 unit, including the PCIe cable, since the 1650 didn't need it. I've been looking everywhere online, but it seems like Cooler Master never sold a 2x 8-pin → 12VHPWR cable (the 16-pin one is what I need, I think that's what it's called).
I've read all over the place that you should never mix and match different PCIe cables, even from the same brand, and that I can't buy a 3x 8-pin, which I have been able to find, and only use 2 pins in the PSU. I know my unit is older (it's not even on sale on their website anymore), but I was wondering if anyone had any sort of ideas or safe workarounds that they've found.
