When attempting to launch, no window opens and no application launches in the background. The blue loading circle briefly appears next to the cursor.
I have VC++ Redistributables installed and up-to-date. I'm running Windows 10 22H2. My CPU is an AMD FX 8320 (not good for emulation, I know, but it's all I've got).
Am I missing some dependencies, or do I need a CPU with newer instruction sets or something? Will provide more details if needed.
Perhaps I should mention the MSVC build of both versions of the emulator worked as intended. Any help would be greatly appreciated, my 8320 could certainly use the reported performance increase.
ETA: I'm getting Exception code: 0xc000001d in event viewer when it fails to launch (illegal instruction error), which I think implies that my CPU is missing required instruction sets. Would that mean my only options are get a new CPU or compile it myself?
