Also would the meds prescribed (amlodipine/clopidogrel) have any sort of involvement?

Hi again! I wanna know how I can get my dad to lay off sugary foods and drinks and manage his stress, he’s quite stubborn and I’m anxious about his health and recovery, his blood sugar is constantly high and he stresses about any little thing (also might have anger/temper issues), are low sugar foods usually expensive?
How long will the limb weakness last and what can he do to treat it? He says he can move his toes just fine but his hand is stuck in a sort of curled up position and he can only slightly move his fingers, I’m wondering if a stress ball or something soft and squishy could help him exercise his hand?
Also what can we do to make our living space more easy to navigate, we live in a sorta small apartment suite and we’ve already gotten a grab bar thing and a chair for the tub and shower
Is there anything that can make it easier for him to do basic tasks?
What low cost low sugar foods can I buy since he’s also a diabetic
I really need some advice on this
Hi! I’m new here, so on the 1st of may we had to call an ambulance at the mall of all places because my dad was having slight numbness on one side, they kept him at the hospital for the whole day and did a few scans which is how they found the tia, it’s been two days now and he still has that slight weakness on one side. I’ve been really stressed out about this and I think I need some advice, he has also been scheduled for a ct angiography later this week
Forgot to add that he has little strength on his left side, he can only very weakly grip things with that hand
I really hope he gets better soon :(
Also another question, how long will the weakness in his arm and leg last? I’ve looked at a few different sources and they vary saying it’ll last a few days to a week or a month. He has also been put on antiplatelets, blood thinners and blood pressure meds
