I’m an AME and I’ve been applying to BBA orders since the very first cycle of BBA and have not been selected for any orders, I’ve applied to like 10 already, on, platform, off platform and I’m still getting someone else picked over me.
I did some research and it says that ALL people already at the orders pay grade have instant priority over everyone using those orders as A2P. ONTOP of already having to compete with all the 2nd classes trying to make first, I instantly lose if there’s any first classes applying just right off the bat, and that doesn’t include the fact that there’s first classes on their last look that have even more priority over everyone.
There will ALWAYS be some first class on their last look, and there will ALWAYS have a handful of first classes applying for those same orders, and I have to compete against all the 2nd classes.
I seriously don’t understand how it’s possible for me to make rank competing against all these things unless I apply for some highly unwanted orders with zero applications. (Which are very few and far between, and will only get worse as BBA is implemented more into the navy)
