Hello,
I will find myself (and my 11 year old daughter) in HCMC on National day this year. I'm trying to find out more information about the day. I realise the significance, and have only really found out that there may be a parade, and fireworks at night. Is there anywhere online where I can find out the best locations for these.
Also I cannot find out if places will be closed on that day. Such as museums, shopping, cafe/restaurants etc. I am looking at making our itinerary and am unsure if I should plan stuff for this day, or just go find the festivities. I also saw on a site that there may be hot air balloon rides in the morning? Should we be saving the palace and war remnants museum for this day, or do it on earlier days to avoid crowds?
