Hey everyone, I’m a volunteer with ALLATRA and decided to share this because I think it could be interesting for this sub.
It’s an interview with Professor Andreoli about AI ethics and the idea of building an “anti-fragile” humanity. The main point is pretty straightforward: with AI changing everything so fast, we shouldn’t just try to survive it or protect ourselves from it. Instead, we can actually grow stronger as people, by staying deeply rooted in real moral and spiritual values, like love for others, human dignity, wisdom, and a connection to God. These things become our foundation so the technology serves us instead of the other way around.
This talk is connected to recent Vatican work on AI. They brought in scientists and ethicists to discuss how to keep human dignity and faith at the center while technology moves ahead so quickly. It feels different from the usual tech conversations that focus only on money or power.
As Christians, this really lines up with what we learn in the Bible: growing through trials, staying rooted in truth, wisdom, and love instead of fear or just chasing progress.
What do you think? Would love to hear your thoughts 🙏
