Indoor steak without frying pan

I hope im not breaking any community rules with this post.

My wife isn’t a fan of the frying steak smell in the kitchen. The thing is, I’m a steak lover. I’m on the lookout for a way to cook steak without leaving the smell.
I was wondering if reverse searing with a blowtorch might work?
Do you have any tips or methods that could help me out? I might buy a new kitchen just for steak. Hahahah
