I am a solo developer fresh out of college who saw a pain point in social networking platforms. Dating apps focus on a niche and don’t really help the vast majority and theres no good platform where you can just find people, talk and figure out what you want with each other the good old fashioned way by talking to them and finding out.
The apps really simple no algorithms or anything, create and save profiles. If the people you save are interested in you, then they can start a real time conversation where you can get to know each other in real time. If you liked the conversation then you can add each other and continue the conversation.
The app is called The Network of Commons and is built on flutter.
The iOS app is live now (link below). I’m currently fixing bugs on Android and preparing a closed beta as well (let me know if you’re interested) while actively working on ios bugs and marketing as well. Any help or input would be greatly helpful on any aspect of production.
