I’ve been thinking for a while that when renting a place, you only see the listing but not what it’s actually like to live there.

Things like:

how the landlord behaves
deposit issues
noise / neighbors
overall living experience

So I built a simple map where people can leave anonymous reviews for buildings and share their experiences (good or bad).

One important thing: reviews aren’t published instantly.
They go through a basic moderation step to filter out spam, abusive content, or completely unrelated stuff otherwise these kinds of platforms get messy very quickly.

It’s still very early, but I’m trying to see if something like this would actually be useful in Berlin / Germany.

Would you personally use something like this before renting?
