DLC “was not verified correctly” cannot use FoP DLC. Any suggestions or fixes?
I have the new Fate of the Phoenix DLC and downloaded it from Steam. After launching the game fate of the Phoenix is at the bottom of the screen and says “Owned: No, Installed: Yes, Mounted: No, Activated: No”.
And at the top under Mods and DLCs it says,
“Add DLC to Playset
No playset activated
DLC was not verified correctly. This might be because the files are modified or that it didn’t download property. Try to repair your files on the platform.”
Well I have tried to verify files through Steam and this is still happening so I don’t know what to do at the point. It’s been a couple days of downloading-redownloading, resetting everything, Microsoft update too. I have never downloaded a mod. I think it’s time to just get a refund honestly, this is super annoying literally can’t play it. I’ve seen on the paradox forums others experiencing this as well with seemingly no solutions other than download uninstall and do it all again until that doesn’t work.
