What things u want the society to normalize?💌
Honestly, it’s crazy how a post about cooking and finding peace in my own home turned into a debate about "pick me" politics and misogyny..
Looking back, maybe my title wasn't the best phrased, but I wasn't trying to normalize an insult.
I was just taking the power back from a phrase that's usually used to put us down.
I respect that energy, fr
But true empowerment is about having the choice to be whatever we want..
If I love my kitchen, it’s because it’s my peace, not because anyone forced me to be there
We can be strong, independent, and run our own businesses while still loving the "mundane" things.
Reclaiming my joy isn't "minimizing" the struggle it's me refusing to let an insult have power over my mood.
Let’s just let people be happy.
We can fight for rights and still enjoy a clean house at the same time.
It’s not one or the other!
And I realize that my post might have felt like I was minimizing a struggle many of you live every day.
That wasn't my intent, but I see your point. We’re all fighting for the same thing the right to choose our own path whether thats in the kitchen or out of it girls !
Peace and love to everyone, even the ones who were mad at me !💌
