So I won a SNES model 1 on last sunday's convention
Last Sunday I went to the monthly (sometimes bimonthly) retro convention that happens in my city and bought a couple of games I wanted to get for a while now. In the process I got a couple of tickets in which you'd put your name and phone number in so you could participate to win a SNES.
Didn't think much of it and just put the tickets in the box and went back home afterwards. Then in the afternoon I got a call from the event telling me I won the SNES and was genuinely surprised because I didn't expect to win anything, haha.
Yesterday I went to the store from the guy who organized the event to pick it up and now it's in my collection (I was busy on both Monday and Tuesday so that's why I went yesterday).
Before this I never had a model 1 SNES; I actually grew up with the Jr. version which you can see in the second pic (it's a lot less yellow in person I swear, haha) so it has a lot of sentimental value for me. But I'm really liking the model 1 as well.
