Caregiver recommendations

Hi all!

I’m looking for a little guidance and help. My mom was recently diagnosed with advanced cancer and is now on hospice. She requires comfort medications every 2–4 hours, and unfortunately hospice staff are unable to administer the medications for us.

My sisters and I are doing our best to cover her care, but we could really use help filling in a few shifts — mainly giving comfort meds and occasional brief personal care like diaper changes.

Does anyone know of/recommend any local programs, respite care services, or caregivers who help with this kind of thing? Or is hiring private caregiving typically the best route?

Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated!
