Hi, so it's my first time babysitting. I do have experience with dealing with kids since I used to teach a small class after school, but I have never fully babysat before, and it's also the parents' first time having a babysitter. The child is 6m and has mild ocd. I'm not quite used to children who are heavily dependent on their parents, and I met the kid once, and I tried talking to him, but he just started crying, telling his mom that she should stay instead. Any tips, since from what I have read, people just go to their jobs and the parent leaves, so I just want to know how you calm down the kid when they start crying.
