What’s up, everybody? Hope y’all are doing well. Got a question. I’m new to rock rumbling, and yesterday was supposed to be my last day running Stage 3, so I was really excited to start Stage 4 for the first time. Unfortunately when I emptied my canister I quickly realized that at some point during the last 8 days five of my rocks had gotten chipped. I guess I didn’t have enough rocks in the canister nor did I fill that void with media. Now I know not to use new ceramic media right out the bag. So I’ve had it tumbling with stage 1 grit for about 36 hours now.which brings me to my question. How long do you have to tumble new ceramic media by itself before it’s ready to be use with rocks?
