Hello, I am gonna be studying holistic massage therapy soon, as well as getting my ITEC certificates at the end of the year. I have been investigating beforehand what my options for employment are, and so far, it seems overseas work, and working for cruise liners might be my best bet.
However, I would be a fool not to investigate other avenues of work. I have learnt that opportunities for local work are not great, especially not in my area, unless I happen to get into the high-end places, like 5 star hotels or lodges. With this, I want to ask if there is anything to know about getting work in those places? I imagine that they have strict entry requirements and most likely will require me to have quite a few hours of experience under my belt before they will even consider me as a potential candidate, but I am not entirely certain myself. Is cruise line work or even going private with my own practice the only realistic option?
