Network operations specialist/analyst job for a ccna certified IT support
Hi, I had an interview for this “network operations specialist” job I applied for, it was not very technical but got invited to another technical one. After re reading the job description it’s all about cloud and network monitoring and incident handling (focusing on incidents and communication etc), it isn’t exactly what I was looking for and feels different than the path I have in mind but I liked the pay and more knowledge feeling compared to what I am doing now (technical support for retail company: checking connectivity, troubleshooting, incident management etc.) Question is: is it a good step or good job in current/future IT market or is it just going to feel worse than current position and a step backwards or off path (to network engineering) ?
Sorry for the confusing language
