I’m pear shaped and have always hated how big my hips/booty were until I’ve had to inject them daily for over a month (and still going). So just wanted to share a little hip haiku:

juicy hips, so wide

vip injection site

progesterone in my side

each poke continuing the fight

juicy hips, grateful, gratified

That’s all.

I’m 19dpt, already confirmed pregnancy. Today I started bleeding and having moderate cramping that has been coming and going in intervals for the last several hours. Not quite the amount of bleeding to fill up a pad every two hours but enough to make me feel uncomfortable about it. Has anyone gone through something similar and how did it end? The longer time goes on and the bleeding and cramps continue has me convinced I’m miscarrying.

When did people transfer their care from IVF clinic to regular obgyn? For a natural pregnancy my obgyn first sees patients at 8 weeks. My IVF clinic does a 6.5 week ultrasound and then they’re done with me. I called my obgyn to set up an appointment and they are saying for IVF patients they see them starting 12 weeks. I’m probably going to push them on seeing me early, going 5 1/2 weeks without a check up will probably cause a lot of anxiety. So just curious what other people’s transfer or care has looked like.

My line progression makes me so happy! Doctor called today and hcg levels at 955, the 12 dpt test strip was taken about an hour before my blood test. I feel like the real wait is the follow up blood test to confirm it’s progressing as it should. (FYI- I tested multiple times on days 5 and 6 because I thought I saw a vv faint line on day 5 and got test happy, day 6 I got worried bc the morning line was the same color as day 5 so I tested later in the afternoon and ended up being darker than the morning test).
