Hi everyone. I'm a black woman and got chicken pox in January and the spots are all over my face. One of my friends suggested using arbutin so I got the ordinary alpha arbutin 2% + HA and I have been using it nightly (not everyday) since February. I've seen significant change as the spots are fading gradually. I'm currently running out of the bottle now and I don't know if I should get a new one considering that I've read a few thinks about how arbutin contains hydroquinone and continuous usage isn't exactly recommended. I'm not desperate to get the spots off however I genuinely do need a skin care routine to just maintain everything. Currently, I use the simple moisturiser with glycerine from QAi+ daily with Biore SPF in the mornings and I just use the serum at night along with the anua heartleaf 70+ lotion. I have dry skin so I moisturize with Shea body butter (but never on my face). I genuinely just want recommendations on what products to use, nothing too much or too fancy because I will get tired so please no seven or eight step recommendations for me please. I just need stuff that'll help me maintain my current spot and also fit into my routine/lifestyle for long term use. I'm not chasing glass skin to be honest and I'd appreciate whatever recommendations you have regarding ONE SOLID MOISTURIZER, ONE SERUM AND ONE SPF for a low maintenance person. Thank you very much.
