So everybody speaks Russian today

Already overstimulated because of that physics 2 final and now every fifth person speaks Russian

Where were you guys all semester. I keep nodding off to sleep and trying to concentrate for my final tomorrow but the remaining synapses in my brain keep firing every time I hear ну…есть + random russglish on the bus 🙏

If your not already doing this. Or don’t listen to me I know it’s unsolicited advice.

I try to do this because the second I watch a video related to height or state at a post for longer than a second it dominates my algorithm. And then I go to the comments to see ‘what everyone thinks’ and it gets even worse. I feel so emotional and immature for caring what strangers on the internet say. But then I start wondering if my peers think this or if they are going to see and agree with the commentary.

It’s always about bloodlines, a man/woman under X height is just a friend, ridiculously inflated height averages and then shock that ‘people are really that short’ it’s x gender or ethnicities fault, moral worth associated with height, fault and hatred towards short parents, infantilization, sexual devaluing or fetishization.

I hate feeling small, I hate when my confidence is assumed to be the standard of a tall person (‘tall energy’) or that my height means I don’t deserve to have it. I also hate when people treat me like a kid or assume what I like sexually because of my height.

That being said if you look at my profile and my height and say ‘it’s not that bad’ I do not care. You don’t know me, I’m more than my height and my experience isn’t representative of everyone my height because it doesn’t define me or us. I also tried to be gender neutral (although obviously being short affects men and women of different ways) because I have an opposite gendered sibling who is also short and has expressed similar sentiments.

Best place on/around Rutgers NB campus to get cake

So far I am thinking

Henry’s Diner

Bravo supermarket

Kapadokya Turkish Bakery (near train station)

Any of these good or is there better options anywhere else?
