I was wondering if anyone had any advice on what to do.
I had an online final law exam today worth 100% of the module. I have an approved exam arrangement that gives me an additional 1 hour extra time. Last year, when I had online exams, the extra hour was automatically added onto the timer with no issue.
Today, the timer never changed and stayed at the standard finish time. As time went on I became increasingly worried because I knew I should have had an extra hour. During the exam I emailed about the issue but received no response before the exam ended.
The online exam automatically submits when the timer runs out, and my work submitted at the normal time without the extra hour being applied. I didn’t get to properly finish/review my answers and I’m devastated because I studied hard for this exam. I was aiming to graduate with a first and now i’m worried this won’t be possible.
I emailed immediately afterwards explaining what happened, but they haven’t replied yet. Has anyone experienced something similar before, and if so what usually happens? Do universities normally investigate this properly?
