My cat gave birth to two kittens about 5 weeks ago and she stopped breastfeeding them a 3-4 days ago so i decided to give them some milk without doing proper research, and one of the kittens ended up getting diarrhea and became very lethargic. I took her to a vet and they gave her under the skin liquid and said she was dehydrated (this was about ~40 hours ago). I've been feeding her no lactose cow milk mixed with water and egg whites till i got my hands on some KMR just a couple hours ago, and have been slowly feeding her that for the past 3 hours. She does not seem any better since visiting the vet and she hasn't been improving. She can barely claw her way a couple of inches before giving up and lying down, although today she's had a couple of instances where she had energy to walk around fully and even climb my leg. ANY advice at this point would be greatly appreciated as the vets where I live are not qualified.
