Hello everyone,
Need some guidance as of how i can proceed with the situation i am in.
Someone keyed my car last week in Costco parking lot. Apparently I seem to have had taken their spot (seems to me) and they did it out of rage.
Luckily, tesla beside me picked everything up and the whole incident and I have been successful in identifying the culprit and their vehicle number plate. I have filed the complaint with peel regional police already and the officer has been successful in identification of the culprit. An arrest warrant has been issued.
My question is should I get a lawyer and get through the process with them and seek compensation that way or should I deal it on my own.
Just FYI, my whole passenger side doors front and back, front bumper have been keyed. I don’t think they can be fixed with buffing?!
And what are things i can expect to get compensation for?
