I came out to my step mother...
Basically, on May 4th, my step mother came over to give me my bday gifts (my bday is April 28th) and from the 26th i had been planning to come out to her. Now, as i was talking w/ her my older sister came outside and talked with my step mother. Once sis left, i asked her if we could sit in the car as i wasn't comfortable saying it in public. So we got into the car and she could yell that the mood had shifted and was worried & confused. Now, this is the most nervous I've been in years; i was stuttering, my i could hear my heart beating, my stomach felt like it was twisting like it was doing gymnastics. I tried just telling her, didn't work, i tried counting down from 10, didn't work. At this point I'm so sick and tired of not saying anything that i just blurt out "I've been bi for blah blah yrs now!". She then pulled me into a hug and i cried for a lil bit. She was super accepting and she even said "I love you for you, not for if you like guys or not." I was and am so happy. She gifted me a hoodie, the same hoodie she gifted me is the hoodie i came out to her in, and I wear it every chance i get (including right now).
N.B. Step mom, Dad, and older sis (only sibling) are the only ones who are accepting of me. My mom and her bf are against the entire community 😢 and i always avoid the topic in fear of them finding out.
