I played with chatgpt last night with a very detailed outline for just one chapter. I tried giving it samples of my writing and even other writing styles I like, I tried to break it up into pieces, but the output is just bad. It's terrible. How do you all manage to get better quality? Is there a LLM that does it better? ChatGPT is outputting very bland sentences with no variation in their structure and no real grip. Does anyone have better methods of doing this? I must be doing it wrong.

In the middle of the night, the sounds of gagging woke me up. I reacted half asleep by pushing my cat off the bed. I heard the sound of her hitting the floor, did not see how she landed, but I did see she didn't get up. She didn't even finish throwing up. She seemed confused and did a front wheel type roll on the floor a few times as if she couldn't move her front arms or her head. It was dark and I could not see well but I'm so worried. this lasted about three seconds. She looks fine now. What type of behavior was that??? She is a neutered 8 year old.
