Flights and accommodation covered
I’ve been wanting to attend a concert at Sydney Opera House. It was announced some time ago but I delayed booking tickets until a few weeks back. First off, I didn’t think tickets would still be available since the concert was happening soon but I managed to get two tickets for myself and a friend.
I had bought the tickets on a Sunday. Every day after I’d been telling myself that I need to book flights and accomodation but I just couldn’t bring myself to do it. I thought to myself that it would be nice if somehow flights and accomodation were sorted for me. That Wednesday, I get an email from my manager that a work event is happening in Sydney the same week and that the company is covering my flights and accommodation!
I couldn’t believe it, the timing was insane! Luckily I hadn’t booked my own flights and accomodation.
The line of coincidences is staggering. If I booked the concert tickets earlier, it would mean that I would have already booked flights and accomodation, missing out on the ones the company is covering for me. I booked the tickets at just the right time to align with receiving the email.
The universe came through for me. I’m so thankful. Looking forward to my trip. 🙂
