It took me so long and I've never used this kind of shading technique but it was really fun! I really love the way my pretty maned jaguar oc turned out.

After an exceptionally long time, I finally finished Beastars. I'll admit, back when I watched it, it ended rather abruptly and it didn't occur to me that it wasn't actually finished, so I had a negative view of the show. However, after rewatching and finishing the show, I am kicking myself for dismissing it, beastars was an exceptional show and I just HAD TO make an oc!
I love melanistic jaguars and maned wolves, they both look so majestic, so of course I wanted to put em together. And though I feel like he stands out, I still love him and I think he's the most beautiful character I've drawn, despite his complicated patterns. I put a lot of thought into his mannerisms, putting together a predator capable of breaking bone and a dog who eats absolutely anything, as well as taking into account the issues that come along with being a hybrid. I can't help but imagine I may be copying Melon, however, and if he comes off that way I am sorry lmao.
