Hi everyone,

I’m currently on a Subclass 482 (TSS) visa sponsored by my company in Australia, and I’m planning to apply for a dependent visa for my wife who is currently offshore.

I have:

Marriage certificate
Wedding photos
My visa and employment details

My main questions:

Is this a straightforward process that I can do myself via ImmiAccount?
Or is it safer to hire a migration lawyer/agent to handle it?
If DIY, what additional documents should I make sure to include apart from marriage proof?

I don’t have any complications in my case, so just trying to understand if hiring a lawyer is worth the cost or not.

Any suggestions, experiences, or tips would really help!
