I’m traveling to the Lofoten Islands from France by train. On the way there, I’ll be passing through Copenhagen, Oslo, Trondheim, and Bodø. I wanted to take the return trip via Narvik, then Stockholm, and then Berlin. The train from Narvik to Stockholm doesn’t seem to be running in July. There might be replacement buses, but I imagine it’ll be a real hassle to get to Stockholm that way.

Should I take the same route as on the way there—that is, return to Oslo via Trondheim to get to Stockholm—or are there other alternatives?
