Hey,
I’m a 20yo student living abroad, currently in my final semester, and I decided to run a 30-day challenge to actually get my life together.
The goal is simple:
finish my degree strong + push hard to land a tech job.
But realistically my life right now is a bit chaotic I’m juggling:
- school
- job hunting
- dev work
- living alone in a different country
So I needed structure.
Day 1 today, and I didn’t do anything crazy mostly setup:
- built a clear study schedule for the next weeks
- defined my goals for the 30 days
- broke everything down into micro-tasks I can do anytime (commute, small breaks, etc.)
That last part is probably the biggest change.
Instead of waiting for “perfect focus time”, I now always have small actionable things ready.
My routine (starting today):
- morning: classes / deep study
- daytime: classes or work
- evening: dev + job applications
- throughout the day: micro-tasks (review notes, apply to 1 job, etc.)
Nothing aesthetic or perfect, just trying to stay consistent.
I’m going to post updates here during the 30 days what I actually get done, what I fail at, and what works.
If anyone else is trying to get more disciplined or is also breaking into tech or another field , you can join the challenge.
We already have a small discord group ( https://discord.gg/aqypGzYdgZ )keeping each other accountable.
