2021 g05 strange electrical issues
wondering if anyone has any idea on what the heck this could be. My 2021 G05 X5 s40i only has 40k miles and has the Msport package and Premium package. Professionally tuned with Viezu and catted downpipe. Here are the quirks that won’t seem to go away.
key fob not recognized randomly, then alarm goes off when I try to start the car or open the door. Wife has been locked in the car with alarm going off unable to open the door.
car lights randomly don’t turn off if I don’t lock the car. I can go in to a restaurant and have come out and the car is dark from inside but the exterior lights are on.
I drive screen has started flickering on Apple music but not Google Maps.
Was having Powertrain Supply errors and CELs but those have stopped after dealer did extensive testing on the 48v system to see if battery voltage drops were the issue. They replaced the control unit but these issues have been happening since I bought the car a year ago
I already replaced the 12v battery. Turned off all proximity and comfort access features. Key fob battery replaced. Tech has reset the BDC…no change. Even weirder to me is that it is not throwing any fault codes either and I can’t seem to repeat it. im losing confidence and im at my wits end and considering getting rid of it but love the car and have already invested in the tune, new coolant pump, and ceramic coating but no one seems to be able to diagnose the issue. These are all random events but happening with too much frequency.
