My 11 month old baby is nursed exclusively, she refuses all bottles of both pumped milk (fresh and frozen) and formula, and will drink water from a straw cup but not milk. I want to stop breastfeeding at 1 and am worried that she will not be willing/able to drink cows milk or oat milk or whatever milk. I’m aware she doesn’t HAVE to drink milk after 1 but i’d like her to. anyone have a nursed only baby that was able to transition to cows/non human milk after 1? any tips? i obviously haven’t tried this yet since shes not 1 but im desperate to stop BF and want to be as prepared as possible for successful weaning
