i need advice
i go to ung right now and really want to transfer into uga in spring 2026. my ung gpa is a 3.5, but i had a really rough start battling mental illness. even though i overcame all of that, my overall gpa is a 2.97 right now. i have 71 attempted hours. i’ve retaken several classes and made As (my school doesn’t do + or -). i’m really smart i just didn’t apply myself early on for a plethora of reasons. i’m taking one class in the summer, and i’ll easily make an A in it, which will bring me to a 3.0. i want to know if i should go ahead and apply with my current gpa and upward trend. if i wait until my summer grades are update and my gpa meeting the threshold, it’ll be at the deadline. i’d hate to do it last minute if there’s a chance. i’m really interested in the bsn program beginning in fall 2027, so applying again after this fall semester for next fall wouldn’t kill me if i could also apply to the bsn program. i’m not sure how that’s working or who i can speak with to stay informed. can someone please give me some advice? obviously i’m all over the place.
