Hey all, I am a freshman physics major with aphantasia, and it has made it difficult to grasp fundamental mathematics. I have had an easier time with higher level concepts, but the basics (admittedly even elementary maths) are hard for me to internalize without seeing something in front of me.

I have read some posts that mention aphantasia also affects memory storage, or at least the expected way students should remember topics. Does anyone have any tips or maybe information on how to learn and understand things without being able to visualize and therefore fully grasp content? Thank you in advance!
