I’m planning to build a PC mainly for:
Networking lab work (DWDM/OTN docs, multitasking)
Mid-level gaming (GTA V, Cyberpunk, etc.)
Daily productivity + media consumption
Here’s the build I’m considering:
CPU: Intel i5-12400F
Motherboard: Gigabyte B760M DS3H DDR5
RAM: 16GB DDR5 (will upgrade to 32GB later)
GPU: RTX 4060 (8GB)
Storage: 1TB NVMe SSD
PSU: 650W 80+ Bronze
Cabinet: Mid-tower with good airflow
Questions:
Is RTX 4060 good enough for local AI workloads (LLMs, Stable Diffusion)?
Should I consider Ryzen (5600 / 7600) instead of i5-12400F?
Any bottlenecks in this build?
Is 16GB RAM enough initially or should I go 32GB from start?
Any better alternatives in the same budget (~₹80–90K for build)?
I’m planning to buy from SP Road (Bangalore) — if anyone has recent pricing or shop recommendations, that would really help.
