Hi guys, going through an edit with my agent’s notes. First time doing it and wonder about everyone’s process, especially when you don’t want to change something, do you just leave it, or write a comment about why?

I agree with four out of five suggestions she gives, and for the ones I want to keep, I comment something like “this is the reason I had it this way… but let me know if it’s too distracting and must be cut/changed”. Not sure if my way of communication is too soft or not effective?
