I think the guardian parade situation should tell beforehand, what kind of modifier a planet would get.

I killed the scavenger bot yesterday and got +20% alloys on a unity world. Shortly after I killed the dimensional horror and got research modifier on a border fortress world.

Learned my lesson, I will in the future consult the wiki as soon as this situation starts.
