With a quick search on the sub, I see a lot of notes about people taking creatine to help with workouts and what not, but I was curious how many of you, if any, have had doctors/teams "prescribe" supplementing it every morning as part of just general MS fatigue combat.

My neuro and GI together recently encouraged me to start taking 10g every morning alongside breakfast and my other meds to boost energy, as the native fatigue levels jumped through the roof after my last flare up in ways that were down right scary. They also encouraged adding another scoop of 5 in when I'm getting ready to be more active, which I thought was more of a hydrocortisone type of thing people with thyroid issues have to do.

I know creatine is a "natural" compound in the body and supplements are used all the time for workouts and what not, even at much higher doses. I'm just curious if other people have been "prescribed" it in the same way and what their experiences have been -- since I often hear people with MS can have a hard time responding to creatine supplements.
