Car: 2024 SANTA FE PREFFERED HYBRID (CAN)
Has anyone dealt with this? My key fob and digital key work 100% fine to lock/unlock the car from the outside, but as soon as I sit in the driver’s seat, the car acts like it doesn’t know me.
The Loop:
I get in and it says: "Please press start stop button with the key."
I do that, then it immediately says: "Please put digital key on the pad."
Only after I physically lay the key on the pad will the car actually turn on.
If the car is smart enough to unlock via Bluetooth when I walk up, why does it suddenly "lose" the signal the second I’m inside the cabin? It’s basically turned my fob into a manual key card.
Is the battery just low enough to "handshake" but not "authorize," or is there some weird interference inside the car? Or is a physical component of the car broken?
