How do your clients actually find answers in the documents you send them?

I'm Lance, a software engineer who recently built a RAG-based AI search tool (AskMyContent) that lets people upload their own content and have it be privately searchable with AI — think ChatGPT but only on their own documents.
I'm doing research before I go further and genuinely want to understand the legal world better.
A few honest questions:
- When you send clients contracts, disclosures, or case docs — how do they actually find specific answers in them? Are they calling you every time?
- Are you giving clients any tools to search or interact with their own documents, or is it just PDFs and email?
- Has anyone tried anything AI-based for this — either for your team or client-facing?
