Hope this doesn't offend anyone but I really don't find thinly sliced meat in typical Japanese meals satisfying and I don't like eating fried food very much. I like meat with their real textures and not seasoned to be very sweet.

Whenever I crave meat I have to look for south east asian food or korean food but it's a bit inconvenient because they are not very close to where i live and work.

Does anyone has suggestions for japanese chains or shopping ideas for real meat? Thanks.

Edit: located in Tokyo

I'm not looking for a specific place where I can go to near where I live. More like in general in what kind of restaurants or what kind of markets can you easily find more options for meat.

Recently I've discovered that I might have bad reactions to light to medium roasted blends from some local cafe/roasters. One bag I bought gave me bad headaches and bad stomaches and it took me some time to figure out it was the coffee that made me feel uncomfortable.

And I had a similar experience with a light blends espresso based drink in a cafe too so I started to wonder.

They are high quality local roasters/cafes that specify origins of the beans and I've bough darker roasts from them and have been fine. I don't have problems with single origins either. I do have sensitive stomach and guts but I don't have much food allergies and intolerance.

I wonder if anyone has had this kind of experience? What are the potential reasons?

Edit: I usually drink single origin light roasts and have been fine with them. So i don't think it's a roast level problem.
