GW2 Cypress only causes a black screen
I'm trying to use Cypress to play private servers and for some reason if I try to join a server my GW2 will launch properly but the tab is just a black screen. It isn't even frozen because my Nvidia display is showing my fps going up and down around the 1500 mark.
any idea how to fix it?
-Game Directory is correct
-EA app is open
-EA app is reacting correctly, saying I am in-game
-Cypress logs say everything is working and connected to the server
Potential fixes I've tried
-Copying and pasting a new file of PvZGW2 and selecting it as game directory
-Updated cypress to the newest version (although I see Update Cypress Launcher 2.0.1->2.0.2 the button doesn't do anything, only restarts my Cypress and shows the option again.)
-Double checked if the EA account used are the same one
Any help would be appreciated. I just wanna play this childhood game of mine I played GW1 when I was little and has been wanting to play GW2 since its release. Thank you for your time.
