Recently picked up a NEC PA672W n eBay for $100. It's a budget projector for a budget golf simulator build. It is functional but the image appears to be ghosting. I think it may be LCD panel misalignment but I'm not sure. Any tips on how to troubleshoot and attempt to fix?

Good morning,

I'm looking for recommendations for a projector for my budget simulator set up. Based off of research, I've found some options locally (North central Alabama) and wanted to get the sub's opinion on them. I understand that projector use will likely be limited to night time only and possibly dusk if I'm lucky. It will not be outside 24/7, only when in use. The criteria I've been using to filter are:

-4:3 aspect ratio

- ideally 5k lumens or more

- short throw

- horizontal and vertical keystone adjustment

The options I've found are:

-Sanyo PLC- XM100L (2 available at $200 ea, may ask for both for $300 total)

- hitachi CP-BX301WN (only 3200 lumens, but asking price is $40 with no remote. Not sure if 1800 more lumens would give me enough additional playing time to justify the price difference).

- Visonic PS502X $250 (supposedly 0 hours on the bulb).

Any insights as to which would be best for my set up or suggestions for better alternatives?

For some context, for now, I'll be running it from an iPad/iPhone with the media connector (HDMI) and Rapsodo MLM2PRO to a 9' x 7' impact screen. Unfortunately I have no enclosure or shadow boxing at the moment. I'd like to keep it under $500
