There's not much info about either keyboard because it looks like they both recently released, but I don't see anything different between them. They're both Hall Effect, have 8K polling rates, are wired, look the same in layout with 75% and knob, and are hotswappable.

I feel like I'm missing something, but can't figure it out. Asking because the J2 is cheaper on Amazon right now at $80 compared to the J8 at $100. Namingwise, it makes sense for it to be cheaper, but it doesn't look like it's any "worse" on the specsheet.
