Hi,

I am an American national (born and raised in the US) that had Canadian naturalized great-grandparents on my paternal grandma's side (her parents). Both my parents and paternal grandparents are US citizens, as my paternal grandparents are naturalized US citizens.

Would I still qualify for Canadian citizenship under Bill C-3, or would the line of Canadian citizenship have to be unbroken through my parents/grandparents?

I am looking to apply to Canadian schools as a second-option to staying here, in state in Virginia. However, I reaaaalllllyyyy don't want to/can't afford the international tuition and figured that getting citizenship would be the best way to get cheap college, assuming I am able to.

Please let me know if I'm eligible or not!
