Hello. I am looking for some advice about how to balance different playstyles in my campaign. I am currently a DM for a group that has been brought together by separate friend groups that really did not have any connection before the start of the campaign. Two of my friends have been playing DND for quiet some time and have both logged EXSTENSIVE hours in BG3 and other games of similar fashion. Two of my other friends have really only been involved with DND for a short period. The two that have been around DND longer play like everything needs to be thought out ahead of time before ever actually progressing whereas the other two like to just go on adventures and see what happens when they do something. I really like both playstyles but it has come to my attention that some of the players that are new really have a hard time wanting to keep playing since the other members of the party just "take the fun out of it and meta-game" (their words). Any advice would be appreciated.
