Got my PT2 a few days ago and the only real issue I've had with it is that the weather is consistently showing a much higher temperature than it actually is. Weather conditions are correct, its just the temperature that's off.
The oddest thing is that what's shown by a watchface is different from what's shown by the weather app, even when they're both relying on the same weather API. Not that I actually use the weather app but it's still weird.
It's 18C right now. Watchfaces are telling me its 25, while the app says it's 23. Tomorrow's high is forecast to be 16C. The app says it will be 18, watchfaces 22.
The location is correct and the problem persists if I set location manually. The watchfaces are pulling Open-Meteo, same as the weather app.
If I install a watchface that uses the OpenWeatherMap API it somehow still shows the highly elevated temperature despite the fact that Open Weather itself shows the correct temperature (and I did provide an API key). I suspect that, even though I picked a more recent watchface, this is because the API has changed.
I don't know that there's anything I can do to remedy this, as I guess Open-Meteo just seems to provide flawed information for my location 🤷🏻 I think I'll have to explore making a watchface that uses a more reliable weather API but if anyone here has experienced this and found a solution/workaround I'd love to hear it.
