My fiancée got her Colorado hair stylist license (previously Florida) and has been on the hunt for salons but 98% are saying she doesn’t have the chair experience and the one that has interviewed has turned her down for a candidate that better fit their needs. She’s been doing hair since she was young and as soon as she was done with highschool, went to school and got her license. Does anyone have any recommendations or help on how she could get hired to start her career. Even if it’s just talking with some stylist at other salons to get to know the industry around here.
