I am looking for recommendations for businesses/ services that can fix my car key fob? I’ve been researching locksmiths on BBB to find someone, but all of the highly rated results that come up either
A.) Don’t offer services to fix Key fobs
B.) Had their Chattanooga branch shut down
C.) Only operate from 8-5, mon.-fri.
Which are the exact hours I work.
For context, the Key itself works fine, to my knowledge the electronic inside the fob isn’t damaged (just needs new batteries), and I have all the parts of the Fob. The only thing that’s broken is the plastic shell itself. As inconvenient as it is to not have access to remote locking/unlocking, I can live with that. What’s mostly a problem is that I need the fob to act as a handle to pull the key itself in and out of the ignition. As of right now I just have the key duct-taped into the fob and it just barely holds together whenever I drive.
